ACTIB - Águeda Action Club has a new Board of Directors

The Águeda Action Club - ACTIB held elections on October 30th, electing the new social bodies for the next two years. The elected list is led by Tiago Silva, who was indeed involved in the founding of the club in 2015 and remained until 2018, being one of the main figures responsible for the association's establishment and the return of the Motocross World Championship to our country after 4 years of absence.

Alongside him will be Ricardo Cruz, as Vice-President for the administrative area, also with a history in the club, supporting it since its inception, both through active participation in its activities and as a sponsor year after year. The trio leading the list is completed by André Caetano, as Vice-President for the sports area, transitioning from the previous board, where he already held the role of race director for the MXGP of Portugal.

The now President of the Águeda club, Tiago Silva, commented: "I would like to express my gratitude to all the people who agreed to be part of the newly elected list, enabling us to continue the work that has been developed and has brought the name of the city of Águeda and Portugal around the world, through sport and the organization of the Motocross World Championship, year after year, with unparalleled amateur professionalism. I know, from experience, that it is always at our own expense and with many personal and professional concessions that we dedicate ourselves to these causes."

This board, which returns to the club in a difficult time and at a moment when there is already a commitment to organize, under very unfavorable conditions, the Motocross World Championship 2024, will obviously have a demanding task until May 4th and 5th - the date presented by the promoter of the World Championship for the Portuguese round.
